Gregory L. Seal was born in Murray, Utah, in 1947, and was raised in Salt Lake County, Utah. He served for two years as an un-paid missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Australia.He graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. degree in 1971 and graduated from the College of Law at the University of Utah with a Juris Doctorate in 1973.
Following graduation from law school, Mr. Seal joined the Salt Lake City law firm of Richards, Bird and Kump, where he practiced until 1978, when he formed his own firm. In 1980, he joined a former law school classmate in forming Seal & Kennedy, a professional corporation.
Mr. Seal’s practice is almost exclusively focused on transactional matters, including estate planning, small business creation and development and real estate construction and development.
Mr. Seal is a member of the Utah State Bar and is admitted to practice in all courts within the State of Utah.He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Utah and the United States Tax Court.
Mr. Seal is a past member of the American Bar Association, the Real Property Section of the American Bar Association, the Estates and Trusts Section of the American Bar Association, and the Tax Section of the American Bar Association.He is also a past member of the Salt Lake County Bar Association and is currently a member of the Estate Planning Section of the Utah State Bar, the Real Property Section of the Utah State Bar, and the Salt Lake Estate Planning Council.
Mr. Seal is married and has four married children and 12 grandchildren.Mr. Seal enjoys travel and golf and is a member of the Willow Creek Country Club, having served on the board of directors and as President.
Mr. Seal is active in his church and in civic matters, having served on the Governor’s committee to nominate candidates for membership on the State Board of Education and having served for several years on the board of directors of the Jordan Education Association.
Mr. Seal maintains his primary residence in Salt Lake County, Utah and also has a residence in St. George, Utah, from which he serves the needs of clients.

Jerry R. Kennedy was born in Ogden, Utah in 1945, and was raised in Evanston, Wyoming.He graduated from the University of Utah in 1967, with a degree in psychology.After serving as an officer in the United States Air Force, he obtained his law degree from the University of Utah College of Law in 1973.
He spent the first seven years of his legal career involved almost exclusively in casualty, products liability, and insurance litigation.He was a partner in the law firm of Christensen, Jensen, Kennedy & Powell in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 1980 he left that firm to join a law school classmate, and form a new law firm, Seal & Kennedy, a professional corporation. That firm has now been in existence for over 34 years.
His practice is focused on estate planning, estate settlement, and business planning, although he is involved in, and handles, a broad range of transactional and litigation matters.
He is a sports enthusiast and enjoys most outdoor recreation activities.He is married, is the father of three sons, and has several grandchildren.He is involved in church and civic affairs.
He is a member of the Utah State Bar and is admitted to practice in Utah State Courts, the United States District Court for the District of Utah, and the United States Tax Court.He is a member of the Estate Planning and Elder Law Sections of the Utah State Bar, and the Salt Lake Estate Planning Council.

Kelly M. Kennedy grew up in Sandy Utah, where he learned to love the outdoors, including fishing, hunting, camping, and snow skiing.Kelly completed undergraduate education at the University of Utah in 2001. Upon completion of his undergraduate degrees, Kelly moved to eastern Washington, where he attended Gonzaga University School of Law, in Spokane, Washington. In 2005, Kelly graduated with honors and received his Juris Doctorate. Before leaving the State of Washington, Kelly took and passed the Washington State bar exam, and became a licensed member of the Washington State Bar.
Kelly then moved back to the State of Utah to join his father’s legal practice (as well as to get back to the fishing, hunting, and ski resorts he grew up with). Kelly clerked with the firm while he was preparing for the Utah bar exam. In February of 2006, Kelly passed the Utah Bar Exam, and became licensed to practice law in the State of Utah. In July of 2007, Kelly passed the Wyoming State bar exam, and became a licensed member of the Wyoming Bar.
Since beginning to practice law, Kelly has been extremely involved in drafting numerous estate plans, of both a simple and complex nature. Kelly also has gained extensive experience in probate, guardianships, pre-nuptial agreements, personal injury cases, forming and organizing small businesses, and many other areas of the law.
